Windows & Doors Before & After in Orange County, CA
Photos tell the truth faster than any brochure. We’ve been replacing windows and doors across Orange County since 2009, and the before-and-after moments below show the same thing we see on every job: homes that feel quieter, look brighter, and hold their temperature better. None of these are stock photos. They’re the actual work our crews do, from Laguna Hills to Fullerton. The west light through a good window is worth doing right.
Recent Transformations
Single-Hung to Dual-Pane Slider in Westminster
Before
AfterThe old aluminum frame had been sweating since the 1990s, and the track was so worn the window barely opened. We pulled the frame, re-flashed the opening with new flashing tape, and set a dual-pane slider from ECO Window Systems with low-e glass (a thin coating that reflects heat back into the room in winter and out in summer). The homeowner told Owen she stopped hearing the morning traffic on Bolsa Avenue the first week.
French Door Swap for a Drafty Patio Entry in Mission Viejo
Before
AfterThis one had a half-inch gap at the bottom you could see daylight through. The homeowner was heating the backyard. We measured the rough opening, ordered a Therma-Tru fiberglass door in factory-finished sage, and set it with a full perimeter seal. The difference on the utility bill showed up in the first full month after install. Door jobs like this usually run $1,900 to $3,800 installed, depending on sidelights and hardware.
Eight-Window Retrofit on a Yorba Linda Stucco Home
Before
AfterThis was a full-day retrofit, eight openings, no stucco repair needed. The owner wanted the look of the original windows but none of the heat gain. We set ViewLux retrofit windows with grids and low-e glass, matched the interior trim color, and left the job site cleaner than we found it, which is one of the five promises in The Kingswell Way. Whole-home retrofit projects in Orange County typically run $8,000 to $16,000 depending on opening count and product line.
Picture Window to Garden Window in Garden Grove

Over-the-sink garden windows are one of those things Orange County homeowners either love or never consider. This homeowner grows herbs year-round, so we cut the old picture window opening slightly larger, framed it, and set an ES Windows garden window with operable side vents. Now there’s a shelf for basil and a way to actually vent the kitchen when the garlic’s going.
Patio Slider to Folding Glass Wall in Newport Beach

Salt air wrecks aluminum hardware. We see it constantly in Newport Beach, Corona del Mar, and anywhere within a mile of the coast. This homeowner wanted the whole wall to open for summer. We pulled the old slider and header, installed a structural support beam the engineer specified, and set a CWS folding glass wall system. The panels nest against the left jamb and the track sits flush with the indoor tile. It changed the way the house breathes.
Side Kitchen Door to Impact-Rated Entry in Dana Point

The old door was hollow-core, which meant the kitchen heard every car on the street. We replaced it with a PGT impact-rated door, the same product line a lot of coastal Orange County owners choose because it’s built for wind-borne debris and it cuts sound. We also replaced the two flanking single-pane lights with laminated glass set in color-matched frames. The homeowner’s dog stopped barking at delivery trucks.
Want Results Like These?
Every one of these projects started the same way: a phone call and a written price before any work begins. That’s how the Kingswell Guarantee works, and it’s non-negotiable on every job. Call Westlight Windows Orange County at (424) 414-2048, tell us what’s wrong with your windows or doors, and we’ll set a real arrival window and send a background-checked technician to measure. Owen Satterfield and the crew have been doing this in Orange County since 2009.
